so i finally found some rims for my car at decent price. the original chrome 17's were corrided so bad they didn't hold air for more than a couple days. I picked up the stock silver 17in 5 spoke wheels.

My question is will a 265/40/17 or a 275/40/17 work on all 4 corners?

nope rim is not wide enough for those sizes, i have 245 45 17 in front and 255 45 17, 255 thats as far as I would go as far as wideness

I found place in kansas city ks that can turn the inside of the wheel and get rid of the corrosion.

thanks i found a place here in michigan also but at 75 a wheel and the new ones only costing me 150 i went for the 5 spokes. even though i actually kind of liked the factory chrome mutlti spoked ones. they just fit the look of the car to me, but the 5 spoke are nice too and had the center caps and were in great shape so couldn't pass them up.

thanks, 255 is pretty good width. i totally forgot these are only 7.5 wide, i'm used to dealing with mustangs and trucks lol

if you want them to align a little more with the fender go for motech custom spacers , about 5mm so you dont have to get longer studs
