I just picked up a nice LS with only 72k miles on it a couple of days ago and wanted to introduce myself.
2001 Aqua Blue Lincoln LS V8
It has every option except for the sport package and I'm pretty happy with it so far. It runs great and doesn't leak any fluids. The only thing wrong with it is the buttons for the trip computer have fell back into the housing under the vents. They are still reachable, but I need to remove that housing to fix them.
The only mods so far are my Sirius radio and window tint, but I am planning on doing wheels and tires next week. I will probably put 20" Zenetti Throwbacks with Pirelli Tires on it. Engine mods will probably only be intake, Borla exhaust and an Xcal 2. I am wanting to look at the throttle body and see if it can be ported any. If so, I will do that and check for dyno gains. I have ported many throttle bodies on many different vehicles and that is usually good for an 8-12 rwhp gain on V-8's. I may do some audio upgrades in the future.
I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions so bear with me.
My other vehicles include are:
05 Galaxy Black Nissan Titan KC 4x4 with a Fabtech 6" lift, Eagle 178 18x9 wheels, 35x13.50 Pro Comp X-Treme AT Tires, Volant CAI, and a Flowmaster dual exhaust.
84 Monte Carlo SS (my drag car) modded with a ZZ502 crate engine, Mighty Demon 850cfm carb, Ford 9" rear with 3.89 gears, 150 shot and a bunch of other stuff.
The LS is actually the first Ford product that I have ever owned.
