Whas goin on errybody, im new to this site, an im new to the world of lincoln. I just recently purchashed a 2002 Lincoln Continental CE with 184,000 miles on it. I couldnt believe how clean it was! and i've always wanted a continental so it sorta felt like a sign from God. But anyways, im wonderin what kinda work I should put into it. Any Ideas? I definately want some flowmasters not nothin loud but somthin mellow but will still turn heads. But any ways, any suggestions?

I have a 2000 Continental. It was a lease vehicle that had 87,000 when I bought it in NOV '07. A beutiful car and in fantastic shape. I thought I had a bad amp or subs. I was poking around back there and found the system plug on the amp not locked in. All is well now, except for the Snyper tuner I bought for it. Snyper has not kept up w/ upraded programs for this car (98-2002 Conti) and the tuners have no upgraded templates. In short, don't buy a Snyper tuner for your 98-2000 Conti before checking for the the upgraded program in your EEC/PCM. When the dealer does an upgrade, the program identifier code changes and they don't change the code sticker on the outside, i.e.., the new code doesn't match the sticker. What to do: Have your/a dealer read the program and tell you what the code is, then call Snyper and ask if they have a template for that code BEFORE you buy their tuner. It did work great on my '98 F150 4.6.

In all fairness I must add that the guys at Snyper are working to get a template made for my program, which will cover a lot of other Continentals out there. If you buy one and your program doesn't have a template for it, they will make one for you.
