Gees Barry, If you cut the trunk out and shave some of the roof off, you could use it to haul the mkII to and from shows, instead of building that trailer.

I'm seeking info on this car. I don't think, at this point, that is was done by any of the big name coachbuilders.
If you look closely at the car you will see that it was made from two maroon 1968 Lincoln Continental suicide door sedans. Note the two gold VIN plates on the first two driver side doors.
They used one car from the front bumper to the back of the "B" pillar and the rear donor is a full sedan suicide-door body sectioned just aft of the firewall. It appears that the front of the "A" pillar of the rear car is attached to the rear of the "B" pillar of the front car. Hence the small panel between the first and second doors. Is that clear?
I do not have the car in my posession yet so I can't tell you how well the splice was done. If it's a hack job, I'll part it out and lick my wounds. If it's well done I'll turn it into a bagged limo.
