Sooooo yesturday I recieved my gift for christmas it also is my graduation gift. So now I have a 2006 Lincoln ls and a 2007 Chevy Silverado VMAX. I bought it from my uncle cause he decided to start a new project with a 2012 2500hd. Im pretty much a spoiled 17 year old. :)

Haha. I love it too much like that. Ive always wanted this truck since I was 13 and the opportunity came up to buy it I said hell yes. Ill post some more pics of it. It only has 30000 miles. He never drove the thing it just sat in his garage. Never drove it rain or fog. He is crazy with his vehicles. But thats why its super clean for being 4 years old.

Badass truck. Needs bigger tires though.

And yes......you're definitely spoiled. Jesus. lol.

Sweet tailgate. That mods on that truck are just how i like them!

I wish. That thing would never pass smog here in California.

Well that sucks. I'm going to get it inspected Friday. Missouri FTW....just need a safety inspection in my county. The only issue I have is the damn windhshield tint lol.

Only problem is its a GM.

Id love to have an F150 Saleen or Mark LT.

Tires are way to small and stick too far out. And its a GM so its fail all around :)

Sweet looking truck, not my style but still..
17 with 2 nice cars = pu$$y falling outta pockets

Cheese and rice that thing needs different wheels and tires. Nice rig, personally prefer a powerstroke 6.0 but this isn't about me now is it.

sick truck...looks like some crazy suspension work looking at that fender-well. I'd jump it for sure

That is the most problematic diesel on the market lol. You would be better off with any other Powerstroke, or Cummins or Duramax....

they got a lot better, right before they went to the 6.4.
ARP head studs and some aftermarket parts really helped reliability on those early ones.

but i would still get a 7.3. get a quick spooling turbo and a mild performance chip and you have a great daily driver / towing machine.
dad's 97 is coming up on 200k miles.

Head gaskets call for 30 hours labor. It's not a cheap repair....and they are common failure....along with injectors.
I had a 7.3. Didn't have it for long, but never gave me a problem.

Wow. Lucky ass kid.

But yea the truck is nice. But it looks goofy with those tiny wheel/tire combo sticking out.

Either go redneck with the lift already done and get bigger wheel/tire.

Or go Meximodded and lower it with those cheesey wheels sticking out.

Looks like the previous owner couldnt decide.

This. Minus the meximodded. You need some real man wheels/tires on that sumbish. Some Thornbird TSL 35" tires on some 18" wheels should do it :D

And I hate to say it, but I'd even go black wheels on it.

Ah now I think I know why it looks so damn funny to me. All those suspension mods for a tar baby? Silly.

Oh, and another question. What do you do for a job? 2 vehicles that YOU bought and pay the bills on, and you are 17?
