Ya you heard right, I don't have a Lincoln or a caddy. I do have a Ford sedan though. I have a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It is basically the same thing as a towncar though.:D I have some things done to her but not as much as I want but I'm a senior in high school and have a part time job to pay for it so not too much income. But here is what I have done to her,

Mercury Marauder airbox & MAF
SCT Xcalibrator 2, Tune by Lonnie at BOC
04 PI Ziptube
Ported Plenum by ADTR
70mm BBK Throttle Body
Dual glasspacks with 4" Outlet Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust tips.
TRW HD Cargo Coils
Various appearence mods

The main reason I decided to join was the Mark VIII Tech. In the future I am going to swap in a DOHC 4.6 and I think building up a Mark VIII motor is cheaper then buying a cobra motor. So I am here to learn about these motors and have to mod one to get 300+ HP out of them. I really think my vic is underpowered with a SOHC 4.6.

I'm a active member on Crownvic.net and Grandmarq.net.

Here are a couple of pics of my baby, She has 90K on her now but I bought her a year and a half ago stock with 78k on it for $2,750.

I hope you guys don't mind a Ford being on here. Also, I have a newbie question, how do I go about getting a sig made? I go to the user cp and I can't find were you get to enter you info and put a pic in you sig.

Thanks guys,
Zack

hell yeah, thats bitchin, post some interior pics. and get some better wheels!

thats a nice car and we don't mind a ford being on LVC. Welcome to LVC

Thanks for the compliments guys. I figured out the sig thing, I must have needed a couple of posts before it worked.

Get rid of the donut eater wheels but welcome. Im a new member and this site is greta

Crown Vics are great, lots of potential in them, and they run forever. Thats a good lookin ride.:W to:V

Hey how many cars refuse to pass you on the express way? LOL....

I bet you can create a stir! Welcome to LvC and Don't worry about what you drive... That CV is very nice! You will fit in nicely here... Enjoy the forums and please join in the discussions.

We see lots of CV Interecptor cars that become taxis after their career of chasing bad guys ends. Most of them still have the spotlight mounted on the A post, and if they're not painted school bus yellow, people automatically slow down and move over when they spot one in the mirror, as the spotlight is the giveaway that this is a police car.

omg i love that car i gotta get one of those i see so much potential of what i want to do. very sexy. keep the rims they look hot i wonder if a set would fit the mark 8.

well if they are the same bolt pattren of my Town Car, It won't. But the Conti's and the Marks are interchangeable. If I saw your car, I would stay alitle away from you Untill I saw you didn't have any lights in the car.lol

You'd be surprised. Actually I would keep that motor because it probably has better internals than most 4.6's. Look into what people do to mustang gt's. I knew a guy that put a supercharger and small shot of nitrous on it. That thing was a beast! Welcom and I hope you stick around. I'd really like to see the end product when you get finished!

Welcome.

I had (I should say my wife had) a '92 Grand Marque Police package.

I was a close race between the Mark and the Marque. The Marque would fall behind at the start ( too heavy) then catch up about hte 1/4 mile and pretty much stay with me, until we had a curve thenb I would lead out front.

Only issue we had was the power steering would overheat when really getting on it, even with the police package power steering cooler. It would get all foamy and start to make all kinds of noise til it cooled down. Ford could never resolve. Even at 95k they had to replace all the power steering cause I hounded them so much and kept records of them telling me it was not a problem.

It was cool when you opened the hood, it had all the blue silicone hoses and on the battery and master cyl it had large POLICE PACKAGE only labels. State inspectors would go nuts.

It was also white with the dog dish caps. Cars always get out of your way.

I really miss that one.

Thanks guys. Ya the SOHC 4.6 can make power cause there are some on crownvic.net that are running 12's in these boats. I just want to swap out for a DOHC 4.6 cause that is what marauders had. Ya the My vic has the same bolt pattern as the Towncar.
