No power to dccv....

Hi everyone.... I have a 2000 ls v6... My heat stays on all of the time... I checked at the plug and I am gettin no power to the dccv yet my climate control control unit seems to operate correctly


Can anyone help me??

There is a fuse that feeds the power for the DCCV and the AC clutch. Check it and see if it is blown. (I'm sorry, I don't know which one it is on a gen I.) If it is blown, then it is probably blown because of a short in the DCCV.

check this

open the electrical connector on the back of the fan shroud that is for the DCCV. Use an ohm meter to check the DCCV solenoid ohms readings. check the lower right pin and the far left upper and lower pin. You should get readings of 10 -23 ohms, if so your DCCV solenoids are good. Anything else and they are bad.
