Now c'mon guys - sure Lincolns are great cruisers, and will certainly get out of their own way, but all these references to the word "fast" seem a bit far-fetched. Let's keep in mind that they do weigh in the neighborhood of 3900 lbs, and aren't exactly the torque monsters that pushrod-equipped V8s tend to be blessed with, so I wouldn't call them fast. Not stock at least.
Most of these cars are in the 14-15 second zone. My 98' LSC only managed a 15.1 on the best of three runs here in Phoenix.
Of course, I realize that 'fast' is also according to your frame of reference, but in my own frame, Lincoln doesn't fit the bill.
