lmao there are some ugly cars on that site lol..... all that rap on them to fake like there air o damn natic lol... i know i made that 1 up. but man there are some trash bag ricers on there.

just terrible. those are the cars you laugh at when you see them driving. "oh your cool with the exhaust" is what you yell as you blow past them.i had a 1995 intrepid with 193k and could barely start and i beat a civic si. DAMN SAD
 
Rice is a state mind.. and that mind is closed, shut tight... I doubt anyone here would dissagree that a person can take a small light 4 cyl. car and make it fast. But that is not what a Ricer does.... They just want to look fast....

Rice is when someone with nothing puts decals of mods they don't have, and or go to Wal-Mart and purchase Modes for their car. Worse yet they believe that Autzone is gods gift to cars.... Ricers could not even spell NAPA.

Bling Bling lights and loud noise do not a fast car make... This is Rice....

Bling bling and stickers, yeah Ricer.

I share in the thought of Carrol Shelby; tuneing and raceing 4 or 6 cylinders is very much the same style, grass roots competition that Carrol himself was doing when he had gotten started. The difference being, the hot technology of the time was thin wall V-8 castings. Taking anything from stock to hot -rocks!
After all, there is a 3.8l S/C FOMOCO performance car in my family.

You drive a Mark VIII. Their cars usually can not match your car in performance, and they definately can't match your car for looks, comfort, or sheer class. Running off at the mouth is usually all that they can do. In my world, they usually come up with a myriad of excuses why they can't or won't run my Mark. Of course, when I insist on $100 per gear, or pinks, they put their tails between their legs and run for the nearest import shop for more go faster stickers.

Don't get me wrong, I respect anyone who can make any car faster, but louder, does not always mean faster. Also notice that the ones with the biggest mouths and the highest wings almost always have the slowest cars.

I "owned" some guy in a Honda this morning. We were stopped at a light, and he was in the middle lane, and he thought he was going to cut over in front of me in the right hand lane and make the right turn that was coming up.....This actually happens alot at this light. People think they are going to pass all the cars and cut over to make that turn. I have almost been hit several times there.
I love doing that. Do ricers think our cars are NOT fast or something?

When most of them think that the only way to upgrade their cars is to install a double barreled fart can and a wing with stickers?? I love the fact that a lot of people are not educated enough to know that these cars are fast. Makes for some interesting reactions when they get stomped by a luxury car.
 
Now c'mon guys - sure Lincolns are great cruisers, and will certainly get out of their own way, but all these references to the word "fast" seem a bit far-fetched. Let's keep in mind that they do weigh in the neighborhood of 3900 lbs, and aren't exactly the torque monsters that pushrod-equipped V8s tend to be blessed with, so I wouldn't call them fast. Not stock at least.

Most of these cars are in the 14-15 second zone. My 98' LSC only managed a 15.1 on the best of three runs here in Phoenix.

Of course, I realize that 'fast' is also according to your frame of reference, but in my own frame, Lincoln doesn't fit the bill.

I understand the pink slip thing, but how does "$100 per gear" work? I always thought that a spoiler that sticks above the roof of the car is good for at least 50 HP, maybe even 75 HP when on a front wheel drive car. LOL
 
Mark VIII's are faster than 90% of cars on the road stock for stock...

But they also spent more on the motor than the entire car. Nobody can deny the fact that they can be made fast, but at what price??

I have a 4 speed auto, he has a 5 speed manual. I win he pays me $400. He wins, I pay him $500. I used to clean up with my 442. Damn I miss that car.
 
A toilet can be made to run 8s, but at the end of the day, it's still only good for one thing...

I know...I wouldn't care if it ran 6's... Give me a V8 anyday.
