No second gear months after jmod

Mark 8 jmodded 4.30 gears et streets etc.
When in drive it winds out first and finally shifts to third.
When manually shifting second is non existant. (slips)
Last time i drove it it was perfect.
What could be wrong. For months and months it was great after jmod!
Why is it skipping second? what happened what should i look for

Check shift solenoid and such. Usually though, it defaults to "limp mode" if something is wrong electronically.

Usually limp mode for electronics issue is reverse and second only.

What year is it? Seems more like a OWC issue. Did you also lose OD? Could be the OD band if that is the case.

sounds like a one way clutch issue to me.
somewhat infamous on earlier 4R70Ws.
