Well, I just bought an 02 Lincoln LS V8 :D , and it should arrive here by train next Thursday or Friday. I have a couple of noob questions, and am hoping someone could offer some insight..... I'm looking at a couple of items on ebay, and am wondering if they are any good. First off is the aluminum interior kit. My car has the woodgrain dash, and I like the silver much better. Is this kit any good? Also, looking at the aluminum sill plates. Does the 02 come with aluminum sill plates already? And how about those eyelids you can buy. They look pretty neat, but again, are they crap?? Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard! I'm not the one to ask about the "bling" type items, but there are plenty here that will help you. Enjoy your stay! There are lots of great guys (and a few gals) that will be glad to help you out!!

(BTW, if you see any posts from someone with the name of Ken that resides in a VERY hot state...and in it's largest city....where I live....please ignore his posts!! PLEASE!!

Oh boy...I'll bet that gets me in trouble with the mods....)

Well, I don't know about going for the 'bling' look, I just want to get rid of the 'wood' look! Thanks for the welcome!

welcome aboard.. the dash kit does not include anything that is already wood.. so ur gonna have half wood and half silver... look at the kit.. it doesnt include the cigarette trim or the steering wheel, or the dash peices..

what color is the car?

Go to LS koncepts he has everything you could want and in my case can't afford. His is great to deal with and very helpful.

:q:q:q:q, I'll sell you my '06 little aluminum accent things (assuming they'll fit in your car)... some of them still have the plastic on them. I want woodgrain!!! haha let me know if you're interested. :)

Bangin, the car is black on black. My dash doesn't have the 'full' wood trim package. The stereo and temp control panels are not woodgrain, and there is no woodgrain on the steering wheel. Will check out LS Koncepts....

Again, thanks for the welcome!
