Ok, I dont know nothing at all about nos, and would like to know how would it respond if I add it to my 3.0 v-6?, and does it mess up your engine over time? and when can I use it? is there a certain speed when I could "juice" it?

you add it with a WOT switch so it is only spraying while at full trottle. the better kits come with a rpm window switch that only allows spray within a certain rpm range.

yes - you can really hurt your engine - two ways:
- running lean - too much air/not enough fuel. the LS has a returnless fuel system, you should run cooler plugs and most of the kits recommend a wet system - so pooling is an issue
- too much hp - remember - adding 100hp to a stock engine is risky. adding it to a stock transmission even more so. we do not have alot of options for internals yet.

I ran a wet kit for about a year. not as much fun as people think - as you ucan only use it in a 'drag' situation. I always worried about ripping the rearend or trannie out.

don't get me wrong - done right it can be safe. certainly makes your car fast in the 1/4.

but if your like me - driving the streets and want more zip - a turbo or supercharger is the answer... your car would act like it just has more power (like a bigger engine). NOS is like lighting a stick of dynamite - goes good but you wouldn't use it on your drive to work.

disagree

Hey quickls your like my idol on this forum and you added some great info for him but im gonna put my two cents in here
I work for a nitrous company called Ny-Trex we have made some great break thru's in nitrous development first off always want to run a wet kit just so much easier and safer if you run a dry kit you need to bump up the fuel pressure to make up for the n20 wet kits already has it
the company i work for designed a new nozzle it sprays at a 70 degree instead of 90 meaning it sprays to the middle of the intake not the side also it sprays in a cone shape instead of a flat shape (n20 and fuel mix better in the nozzle and mix better in the intake also) the install was made quicker and cleaner with are tripple threat system and im running it on my 2002 v6 ls (WOT switch is safeest and simplest setup for activation) and all you need to do in not spray inbetween gears and that will limit the strain on the tranny (but any power adder can damage tranny or rear end if over worked ) im running denzo plugs two colder and backing off the timing 2 degrees (working on it)and running 125hp shot and will be in the clear if you need more info or just wanna chat on it let me know i love my car and i love me job and i can get kits forallthe people on this site pretty cheap check out the site (www.ny-trex.com) and let me know i will give everyone great deal
