East Coast Gassers Nostalgia Drag Show at Atco Raceway. Heres some shots I took.
Glad to relay that Fred Ristagno made it out of a near catastrophy today in his Original "Sox & Martin" 73' Duster.
He launched off the trans brake and stood the car on the bumper, then went up on the bumper then when the wheels made contact with the track again it pitched the car to the left.
Fred had no way of telling where he was or how straight he was going so he stayed into the throttle and hung the front tires 150 plus feet until he set the car down on the guardrail HARD! It was one of the most amazing wheelies I ever saw! I will post video when I can get it. Heres the aftermath.
Its not the end of the World but it sure does SUCK! Heres more on this amazing car.
