I promise to nicer if you promise to be smarter.
The red run is the Stock Factory tune, and the Blue run is an aftermarket tune.
08 F450 (in case the file name eludes some of you) :p

sweet!!!!! maybe i should give you diamonds phone number, he's been building powerjokes for awhile. His dually is running low 12's last i talked to him he said boost was not the key to it, after he was replacing the headgaskets and headbolts for the 4th or 5th time, lmao he has the meanest sounding exhaust i ever heard on a desiel, that and a whistle that makes me drool even though he swears the turbo's stock now. Nothing like getting your azz handed to you by a big azz pickup truck.

Hell you should be able to tow 2 houses with those numbers.

I want to know what it will do in the 1\4.

About a year ago I saw a street legal 24v cummins dodge dually that had been converted to one big @ss slick in the back (im sure he didnt drive to the track with slicks) jerk the wheels at the line and run a 12.- 1\4 mile time. That made me a believer in diesels.

Wow... nice numbers man... nice numbers

So thats why you haven't written me a response yet... to busy playing with the dyno eh?

I bet he bought a dyno for his garage just to tune his truck :) now he's out their playing with it.

Headbolt issue is not common in the 6.4. It was a problem in the 6.0hnos.

Noice!

Must be a lot more fun towing with that than me towing with my wheezy 4.6 :D

The stuff I tow weighs a little more than the stuff you tow. Or as the Intel commercials say, "Our tow rockstars aren't like your tow rockstars". I love those commercials.

Nope. Busy with other stuff. The dyno run was one of those "Hell... we're bored. Let's run the truck

I can't justify $100K plus for a DynoJet dyno.

hp aint squat in diesel its the 1104 tq that matters

And the man hit the nail on the head!
Now, realistically, only about 875ft lbs of torque are usable out of those 1100. But still, better than stock.

Once the truck hits 100K miles, it's going up to fordcummins (fordcummins.com) in Montana, and I'm having a 5.9 ISB (or if I find one, a 5.9 mechanical) Twin turbo Cummins slapped under the hood, with an Allison 9 Speed manual tranny. THEN we'll see some torque.

It's not a quarter mile truck, sorry 98. It will likely never see a run down the track.

Well I still would love to hear your ideas if you get a chance to respond...

Cummins in a Ford... what SHOULD have been. That would have pushed poor ol Mopar out of the game ALONG time ago...

i am so smrt!!! i always wondered why ford didnt look into cat for their diesels since they have had sooooooo many problems with internationals, now not sure if cat has any issues but gotta be better than where we are now

Because Caterpillar has said time and again, they're not interested in entering the light duty pick-up truck market.

ok never knew, but it makes sense. cat i guess would consider it a waste of time to build a eng for around 10-15k, considering the cost of their machinery thats just pocket change.
