so with my birthday money i went to the antique store and picked up a Tamiya 1/12th scale Ferrari 312B for $40. turned out pretty nice had to rigg up a couple of pieces, and some cracked up decals.

that thing was a pain in the ass to put together, way to intricate. brake lines, spark plug wires, fuel lines, had to put together the coil overs. maybe i should get the Lotus Ford and make a diorama :D
 
Tamiya model kits are the best! I worked at a hobby shop when I was younger and if I every wanted to build a model kit that was a challenge but great quality Tamiya was the way to go!
 
I miss building models. That turned out really nice mang! Almost two years ago when I bought my little RC copter I saw a Mark VIII model and thought it was cool. After I bought my car I went back to go get the model but it sold and the owner said he got that model about 8 years ago (now 10) and he cant get them anymore that the company went out of buisiness. :(
Wish someone made a nice diecast working model like they do for theMustangs.
