I get this noise when I start my car. It doesn't start really until after a couple of seconds...it however doesn't sound good and I have no idea what in could be...the previous owners said it was the power steering pump but some how I doubt it.

I upload a video its not the greatest but hopefully it gives someone and idea as to whats going on, Thanks

Take the belt off and run the engine for several seconds, but not for more than 30 seconds.
If the noise is not there, then it is something on the accessory drive, like the power steering pump. You may be able to spin each pulley by hand to find it.

If the noise remains even with the belt off, then you have a more serious problem, like a loose timing chain.

Well I finally got help with the belt removal and the noise went away kinda.....its really faint now...so we decided to jack the car up start it again....my friend got under the car and said it sounds as if the sound is now coming from the back of the motor where trans is connected, now i'm really lost lol. I'm almost certain its not the timing chain but now I'm worried that its the trans...though I must say I drove it and it never shifted weird or anything so....once again any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks Guys...

It could be the torque converter or it might be the catalytic converters rattling.

Ok, I'll look into that, I think its gonna be a costly dance to say the least. But thank you I appreciate it really.

I drove it around more today and no delayed shifts or erratic behavior. The noise is back and it kinda sounds like a pulley or maybe even a heat shield loose. I'm also thinking of changing my valve cover gaskets...the previous owner said the gaskets were changed and I did purchased it with a misfire in cylinder #3. So I ordered a new coil pack and plug to see if the old coil pack was bad. Upon removing the coil the spark plug valley was filled with oil....I do mean alot I got them changed out and the mis was gone....but now cylinder #7 has a misfire...I dont know if I should just assume that gaskets need to be changed to be safe or maybe it was a coincidence being that the plug I removed from cylinder #3 was bad so cylinder #7 might just be a bad plug also. I really want to get this car on the road....so I may lean on you for more help lol. But as always thanks for the help.
