Man, did I see this coming or what?

The clothes are already coming off this empty suit.

Then it got uglier.

"How is it transparent," another reporter asked, "when you control the only image of the re-swearing - there's nobody in there but four print reporters, there's no stills, there's no television? And the only recording that comes out, as I understand it, is one that a reporter made, not one that the White House supplied."

Um... Is he supposed to summon an army of reporters, cameramen, and lighting/sound crews for every little thing he does? There were reporters in there, and there was a photo, and one reporter happened to record the words that we should be able to assume -- because it was a do-over -- were exactly as printed in the US Constitution.

Now if it were a totally secret event -- no press, no mention of it, or beating around the bush if word got out -- then I'd say they're not being transparent. But this level of transparency for this type of event seems pretty reasonable to me.

the article said:
"Do you know," the reporter followed, "that you've used ... one of those senior officials' first names several times in this briefing?" A very long pause ensued.

 this is hilarious - he needs to realize that not everyone in the briefing room loves them.
