Just picked up my 2000 Continental yesterday!
You see where I bought it, so it's uniquely qualified for this forum
It's destined for at least a tuner & intake tinkering, plus the usual maintenance it could use at 80k miles. According to CarFax it was one-owner, no accidents, and the paint is more than perfect. I mean it's "I park in the boonies" free of door dings, just like I've always parked my cars. Someone took good care of this car.
I've had a huge variety of cars over the past 20 years. I had an 01 Grand Marquis LSE (very hard to find that one) and my family has owned dozens of Lincolns over the years. My dad had a 95 Mark VIII that he totaled and replaced with a 97 Mark LSC - one of the first cars in town with HIDs. Ten years ago I had a white 95 Cadillac DeVille, non-Northstar though. I almost got a Town Car this time but decided I liked the potential of the Conti, especially since I liked the one my grandmother had new in 1995.
I've had a number of turbo imports too - several Eclipses, two twin-turbo Stealths, and my last 05 Subaru Legacy GT was a fun 400+ whp sleeper sedan.
I look forward to participating and making my Lincoln all it can be!
