I had my e-brake hanging up a bit several moths ago for a week or 2 only a couple hundred miles driven. I have had a squeel rrt,rrt rrt like its contacting off and on as it drives. When you apply the brakes it goes away. It is on the rear brakes it sounds like and this is a picture of the right side. The garage i had it to said nothing is hanging up and it was a hard spot on the pad. But when I took the brake off the other day saw this, could this be from a caliper not retracting/extending correctly i.e at an angle. I would have though if the e-brake caused the wear the pad would have leveled out by now.
