Hey look what is heading East and they are saying we could get up to 8 more inches!!

Yesterday at 4 am when I let the dog out... No Snow on the ground...

By 6 am there was at least 3 inches...

By Noon most was melted....

This morning.... Just look!!!

Remember Spring starts this Weekend!!!

You have to just love Spring in the Northern States LOL :N

ORONO, Maine - The use of salt to melt snow and ice from slippery roads has an environmental downside that can affect a widespread area long after winter has passed, scientists say.

Nancy Karraker, a New York-based scientist, visited the University of Maine this week to share her research into how road salt can affect amphibians in small seasonal wetlands called vernal pools located as far as 550 feet from roads.

Stephen Norton, a UMaine professor, said salt can be responsible for changes in water chemistry many miles downriver from a road crossing. "You can see the effects all the way down to the ocean," he said.

yea, stoopid snow!....i was just getting used to the nice clear sky and sunny weather!!!
only in Mi can you have spring and bitterwinter in the same week or even day!
well, makes us appreciate the few months of summer that we have!
