Hey guys and gals.Another question.Ive been trying to get through this car to figure out all what I need.Going to do a trans flush etc etc.Now since I parked the car in the snow I see an oil leak:mad:  Its right below the power steering pump, right side of the engine facing it.Its behind the Serp belt. When you start the car cold it leaks pretty good,As it warms up it kinda slows.I think the oil filter is there,Is there anything else there that can be leaking?I thought maybe rear main when I first saw a small spot yesterday but this oil slick is coming right from the front of the engine.Im hoping like hell it isnt the oil pan gasket cause that would suck!

Another thread not to reply too.I searched and Im pretty sure its the Oil filter adapter Gasket, YAY!

take the filter off and make sure the filter doesn't have two gaskets on it. Sometimes the old one gets stuck and when doing an oil change you accidentally put two on. That'll cause a lead too.

Yup check the filter gasket, along with the high pressure line where it connects to the Power steering pump. All that seals that is a small nylon o-ring, and has been known to pruduce what looks like an engine oil leak.

(you sure it's oil, and not P/S fluid?)

Yep its oil,And it doesnt leak when the car is warm.So Im taking it for an oil change tommorrow morning.I will go from there
