 Started my Mark yesterday and when I backed up there was an small oil puddle.... I was like "what the F@#*!!!!". I just replaced the oil filter adapter gasket and oil sender like 6 or 7 months ago. turned out to be the oil sender... damn thing only lasted 6 months!! well I replaced it and that fixed it, no more leak :). hope I don't have to replace it every 6 months.:Bang It is made by Borg Warner here in the U.S. anybody had any problems with these?

Did the oil pressure dummy light turn on for a split second and turn off?

Oil sender. Is that the low level sensor on the driver side of the oil pan? Does it come off easy? Mine has a slight weep. I'll be checking the archives for more info.
thanks

yeah, it's pretty easy to do. have a oil pan ready when you unscrew it, cause it will leak a few ounces of oil out of the hole it screws into. I also used some teflon tape on the threads of the new sender so it doesn't leak. :D

Level sensor on the pan is easy to replace. I changed the gasket on mine last oil change.
