ok as some of you know I went to my buddies shop and I wanted an aftermarket exhaust. He couldn't do a true dual setup on the car because the bending of the pipes was to advanced for what they could do. So we took off the resinator and put piping in its place and then they replaced the piping from where it V's off and they threw on some Flowmasters. At first I was like ok cool it got louder. Then I went over to Katshot's place and showed him the exhaust and he was like ummm.....well it looks nice but your car sounds like a V6 now. I was like yeah right and then my sister started up her Hyundai Sonata with the V6 and an aftermarket exhaust and damn if it didn't sound exactly the same. So I called the shop back up telling them that I wasn't happy with how the exhaust came out and as to what we could do to make it louder. The guy was like, "Well where the piping V's off there's another resinator there so we can take that off" and I was like ummm.....are you sure about that? And he said yeah so just bring it in tomorrow and we can do it. So I hung up and then I forgot to ask him if this was going to cost me anything because if it was then there was going to be a problem. So I call back up and the manager of the shop picked up and was like, "well Eddie told me what you wanted to get done and then he told you that there was another resinator where the piping V's off at the back. But thats not a resinator its a cat, so there's not lot you can do to make it any louder". So my question to you guys is, how the hell did you get your exhaust done!? I'm tired of getting the run around here and I'm getting pissed about this whole situation. So just to recap here's my exhaust setup and could you please tell me as to how I can get this thing sounding good. Stock piping, resinator goneand piping in its place, new piping from where the stock exhaust V's off and Flowmasters on each side. Please help me to get my car to sound like a V8!!!!
