Not really that new. I have been finding and using valuable info on this forum for the past four years . . .
My wife's 2002 LSE is a beauty! We picked it up at the downtown Lincoln dealer in 2005 with 20k original miles. The title was last registered in Michigan and that makes me think it could have been Ford executive's car.
Our LSE now has 80k miles on her. We took her on vacation the summer of 2008 and drove to Las Vegas by way of the north rim of the Grand Canyon. A rock hit the windshield just outside of a little town in Colorado. It looked pretty bad. We found a glass company hoping they would do a repair. These guys acted like they had never seen a Lincoln LSE. Three of them walked around her and just stared. The manager said he couldn't repair the damage and would need to replace. I asked him if he had one in stock and, of course, he didn't. It would be two-three days for a new one to ship in! I talked a little more about how we were on a vacation and didn't have two-three days. He finally did a repair and we got on down the road. Average MPG for the whole trip was 24.
I replaced the valve cover gaskets last year (and two COPs). She recently started acting like more COPs were failing and I ordered a set two weeks ago. Put them in last Saturday and she is running great!
My other toys are;
1999 Kawasaki ZX11D Ninja (headers, custom exhaust and jetted)
1995 GMC Sierra 1500 (3/4 slam)
