???? on brakes

ok i have seen the threads on the rear brakes were you spin the piston. do you have to do this on the front brakes. i'm about to do mine tommorw and want to know ahead of time so if i need it i can go buy it before i get my wheels off.
 
You don't have to do that for the front brakes. You just push the caliper piston in. However, make sure the cap is off of the brake reservoir to relieve any back pressure. Push the piston in SLOWLY.
 
Threaded Piston

The threaded piston on the rear of all cars that use this method is the emergency brake adjustment. As the pads wear you can turn the piston to maintain the brake lever position. It also needs to be set when you change your rear pads.

You don't turn them...they are auto adjusting. To keep this feature working properly, you must use your emergency brake regularly. That is what triggers the movement of the piston.
