will an IRS out of an 03 cobra fit in my 97 mark8? if not, what do I have to do to make it fit? thanks

Yes but the C unit has 31 spline axels.

Okay so a cobra IRS will bolt right up to the mounts for the Mk 8? Is that what I'm seeing you guys saying?

The differential housing will.
