one more air ride ?

i just got my bags but cant put them on till next weekend. The bags that are on now are pretty bad, but i can usually get them to pump up. Once i go past 55 and it drops an inch though, it tends to keep dropping and never come back up. COuld i just turn the switch off once its up and drive on it like that or is that a bad idea?
