Hello. I wanted to get your guys opinion on what I should do with my new toy. For xmas I got one of these http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_pages.php?page_id=245 and I wanted to see what you guys thought about where/how I should mount this in my 97 LSC? Ive seen some pics on here where people have put a sub in the rear deck and wounder how it sounded? Any opinions would be helpful.
Thanks.

Fiberglass up a box for the passenger corner of the trunk, or if you get rid of the factory changer like I am and put it on the drivers side to hide where the changer used to be.

Hmmm that's kinda a wierd sub for a big car... but I have my JL 12" shooting up through the rear deck and it's loud!... nice and tight... only one sub... but I've had people thinkin it was 2... or a 15... for a sub like that I have no clue... depends on the box... and how much air it needs... I like my subs unported... makes them sound tighter and more accurate... if I was gonna make one for that... I'd probably just snug it up against the rear seat... and save all the cargo space... if you put in the side by the cd changer it sometimes sounds funny... and you don't have to chance to move it around any to see if any other places sound better... good luck :)

i have some experince with the 13tw5 and its a great sub. Just dont put it in to small of a box or you will burn it up vary quick. You want to stay in the .70 to .80 cubic feet after displacment. But in the corner would be a great spot for it. Make sure the box is nice and strong and they like power behind them.

Im gonna do a box from the specs that JL has in the manual for it. I cant wait to hear this thing! :)

not on pass side

The emergancy fuel door latch is on the pass side and if you ever have a electrical problem or the switch goes out your screwed. just used my last week.
