So an O'Reilly auto parts opened by the fiancee's house and wanted to know which has the better parts. I did some surfing on O'Reilly's site and saw they sell a lot of Motorcrat parts.

I can't say I've ever used Advanced, but I've had good luck with O'Reilly's. They've even found cross-referenced parts for vehicles that aren't in their inventory system--f'rinstance, a few months ago I needed an oil filter for my 8N, but O'Reilly's doesn't stock tractor parts, so their inventory system doesn't list them. The guy at the counter went to the Wix Web site and looked up the part number, then found the filter in stock (for another vehicle).

I've found that when Advanced doesn't have a part or can't order one, 9 out of 10 times O'Reilly's has it. I've had good luck with both and pricing is close on either one.

i hate both of them... but if i had to choose it would be advanced since the oreillys close to me never has any parts, they're a bunch of effing idiots, and for some reason think its cool to close 1-2 hours early almost every night

theres actually a place called monarch auto near me that i prefer to go to for all my parts, its a privately owned place, but if they don't have your part, they can have it there the next morning in most cases and their a hell of a lot cheaper

I typically go to the Advanced Auto Parts by my house, but some times I go to the one down the road from the office those guys are dumber than a box of tacos. It always amazed how general car knowledge is lost when further in the city.
