It was 29 deg in Orlando this AM. the geriatric crowd must be hating this.
for us up in the cold country, a 29 degree heat wave, is t-shirt weather these days...

can't wait to see the news reports when you guys get a dusting of snow. My soon to be mother in law lives in NC and they got a dusting last week, pretty much shut the city down

29 might not sound terrible but like andrew said, when summer is 8 months long, and its in the 90's with 100 % humidity and dew points in the high 70's to low 80's, 29 degrees all the sudden is like getting kicked in the face by a horse. winter doesnt happen slowly in florida like it does in the north, we go from hot, to cold instantly.

4 degrees this morning up here. Low of -17 tonight. Looks like I'll be drinking hot brandy's by the campfire tonight.
