So - I'll get the repair out of the way first. A while back I replaced the factory shift knob (due to buttons sticking, the leather being stained, etc) with a polished manesium knob. Upon removal of the factory knob - I was to believe it screwed off like every shift knob I've ever come across. And because it didn't I twisted the OD wires off, causing me to not have OD. I was wondering; would it be possible to buy a momentary on/off button and reconnect the wires to it? What amp? What would I have to do?

Now here's the juicy one - electronic shift kits, you supposedly plug 'em in and it increased your shifting times, and life of your transmission. Reason I'm interested in this - is because Lord knows Lincoln's equipped with the 4R70W transmission have no power in 3rd gear (around 45mph). So have you had any experience with electronic shift kits? Are they worth it? Thanks for reading!

I wired my od to the traction control button on my old 93.
As for shift kit
Imo just get a valve body recalibration kit from becontrols.com and upgrade the 1/2 piston.

I like you Slowmark, you're extremely helpful on everyone of my posts. Hey! Now that I have you here - any idea where I could get some halfway decent aftermarket 5x108 rims?

Actually - I take the rim part back, I just dropped $725 on new tires.
