P2106 code need help please

Car randomly popped engine failsafe mode this afternoon started idling funny, completely shut off at a light and can be reved to 4k+ when it was running fine this morning. Everything I can find online is saying either coil packs or the throttle body. The ford dealership here is absolutely useless out here and I just want to be somewhat sure as to what's wrong with the car before I start replacing parts and possibly wasting money, time, and energy

Lol its too hot to get good mpg now :/ it was 120 all last week

Perhaps it's all that calcium build-up in the throttle body ?

Cleaned the throttle body and its fine now
