I just bought my wife a 02' LS8, just so happened she backed into my truck and cracked the rear bumper molding. (She's so nervous that she is going to do something to the car), what a way to "break the ice". Not so bad, however this also created some of those "spider" cracks in the paint where the damage was done. The effected area is about 3" x 6", is there a way to keep this from progressing or flaking off, w/o completely repainting the bumper?

Frustrated,

:feedback same thing happened to me backing into a pole that was on my blind side i ordered a new chrome bumper molding which is on its way but still dont know how to patch up the spider cracks in the bumper hopefully i dont have to paint the whole thing

I have a 2000 LS and was wondering if anyone knew where to get some touch up paint. I tried to find some at Pep Boys with no luck.

Go to your local FLM dealership and come equipped with your paint code. This is easier then searching your local autoparts store for it. Granted, it may cost you more from the dealership, but at least you'll be assured it is the right code for your car.
