anyone ever thought of painting an eyebrow on or having it done professionally? just an idea i just had

It all depends on how permanent you want it. Painting them on would definitely last a long time other than vinyl or the plast version I have.

I dont think it would last longer. between the carwashes, heat, and rocks i think it would look better at first but then look like crap quick

Eleanor (aka Jeremy) has his painted:

so far mine are holding up nicely. Now these are not the vinyl ones though. They are similar to the new ones that Ken is selling. I absolutely love them!

I think he means painting them directly on the head light. Good idea but I'm not sure that it will last long but what do I know, not this answer!!

I have mine professionally painted on.. and it looks great. but i just got mine done about a month ago. so im not to sure as far as wear and tear goes for the eyelids being painted opposed to the vinyls

Its paint folks... if the plastic is prepped properly, it can and will last just as long as the rest of the paint on the car.

I had them painted on the Focus, and they were fine when I sold the car, two years after intial painting.

both ways have their advantages. Buying the eyebrows from Ken's site and having them painted looks very nice because it raises the painted area up to the level of the hood. So it looks like like a separate piece (because It is). They are, however, nearly impossible to get completely flat with no bubbles.

That's where the option of just painting your headlight becomes a better option. But, it looks exactly like that... just a painted headlight.
