Whats up everybody, I have a black 2000 LS and just recently cleared out my headlights, but now I want to get rid of the amber side markers on the bumper, I want to paint them black. Can anybody give me any details on that, what paint to use?where to get it? how difficult it is to do? anything?tips, pics. Thanks.

Buy some clear or smoked ones from lskoncepts.com.

Just wait till they come back in stock.

Only if they are the grey glue, just look on the top of the headlight. There are 3 little square wholes with the glue coming out of them. If that glue is grey then your good.

night shades...

I did mine with night shades tint. it's a spray and you can do serveral layers or less depending on how dark you want it.

I would strongly suggest wet sanding your lenses though. It removes all the factory lettering from the lense and creates a smooth clean look. See
02V8sports lense it will remove all of the factory lettering. I'm not saying his doesn't look good, but if you wet sand it, it will look smoother.

Thats a good suggestion, I didnt know this when I did mine and didnt like the lettering showing through. Definitely sand them first.

It's real easy, Just use water and a fine grit sand paper, alittle elbow grease, and they become very smooth. I am glad you didn't take offense to my comment 02V8sport.

thanks alot everybody, I think im just going to go ahead and wet sand them and then paint them with a tint spray. I'll post some pics when its all done

also go to autozone and but some clear coat spray so it doesnt fade or come right off. i did like 10 coats on mine till the were dark as night then with the left over i did an extra set of reverse lenses that i had laying around. heres the pics what do u guys think. the b4 and after and then the side markers. when i bought the ls the bulbs were already blown so i never knew they lite up so i kept them that way.
