Paintless Dent Repair???

Does it work? Has anybody ever tried this method of removing dings from your car? If so how much did it run you? Thanks...

I had 1 on the roof, 1 on the right front fender and 1 on the rear passenger quarter panel. None had creases and you can't even tell they were ever there. I found this more impressive because my LS is black.

About 3 weeks ago I had one done on my passenger front door it was a TINYYYY ding from a shopping cart so my local lincoln dealer (nice guys) refered me to a paintless dent repair company I met up with the the guy on a friday morning... well he did his thing and let me say i was very pleased with the results there is still what I would call a "scar" but it is so hard to see...it litteraly takes me about 5 minutes to find the little crease then if I look away it will take me another 5 minutes to find it again and thats only in direct sunlight (I am so picky about my car you would not believe and that little scar does not bother me)....me and the guy shared a few laughs and he used to own an ls too so we talked about the amazing handling of the car for the whole 5 minutes it took to get rid of the ding so he only charged me 40 bucks very good since i was willing to pay $300 to get rid of the ding using the standard method of dent repair...anyway I would recommend paintless dent repair to anyone and if anyone lives in the massachusetts area please let me refer you to the guy who did mine he was a very nice guy.

Some guys on a chebby site(those guys were positively anal about their cars) have done this and most are delighted.

Key is that the dent has to be accessible from behind so their tool can push it out. Not so good on big dents or where metal has been damaged.

Many shops will charge a flat rate per body panel and fix several dings for one price.

Most of the dent fixes are not noticable unless you do a close inspection and even then some are perfect.

I think the big advantage and cost savings is that you usually don't need to repaint.

Good Luck,

I have used them. Love the repair (can not tell where it even was) and have recommended them to many friends.

I used them to remove 1 large and 1 small dent in my drivers side door on my 1967 E-Type Jaguar. I watched them nervously remove them for $30. I was so happy they did it seeing I had a concours literally 2 days later.

Highly recomend them worth the $25-$50 you might spend good luck!
