Part number help ?

Anyone out there know a certain OEM part # ? It is for my 81 TC, the plastic grommet/fastener that holds the trans shift rod (AOD) to the thottle body accel linkage. Mine is long gone with a large punched hole in the steel arm that the plastic fastener looks like it would snap into, & then snap onto the thottle arm. Help ...hope I descibed this ok. Hi Dereck,
I think that this bushing kit will work on my '81. Even though it is a different configuration, I think bushing is the same fix. I will try this. Thx, Craig

I know you have the TV rod and not a cable. It would be interesting to see if it is the same bushing. When you replace it would you let us know. Personally I think they might be a little bit different but I'm not sure.

OK here is the update. I went to local Ford parts dept and brought the TV rod with me so no mysteries. He sold me a tan plastic grommet that snaps into TV rod hole, and then snaps onto TB linkage stud. It is almost like a hard rubber type of plastic that wont crack when you snap fit it to the mounting spots. It was $3 & change. I can dig up the receipt and post the part # later if you guys want me too. Craig
