I picked this one up about a month ago and replaced the alternator to fix an electrical leak it had. That wasn't the problem. The battery still dies after 2-3 days of sitting. The rest of it is in pretty good shape and I feel it's better to part it out than sell someone a car they can't depend on. The car has 155k on the dash. I'm keeping the spring suspension and then selling the reliable air suspension parts off of my 69k mile base. A few other small thins are staying but most of it is up for grabs. Let the parts requests begin.:)

i'll buy the whole car if your selling. Keep what you want off it I want a complete interior and subframe mostly.
 
It looks better in the pictures. The paint is really faded with lots of rock chips and we had just waxed it before those pics were taken. We trouble shot this problem for weeks and can't find the leak. It's on CL right now for $2500 ($2000 for a forum member), but i don't like the leak. 2-3 days of sitting completely drains the red-top optima gel cell.

As much as i hate my car's twin brother parted out...i definitely need the passenger fender, front bumper, driver side rear sail panel (i will give dude mine if he wants the whole interior in a package) front upper and lower control arms (depending on condition) and the rear differential, and rear neon (depending on mold etc) and some other things as i think about it.

I'll even come over and remove the parts if you want, hell working together we could have this car basically a shell in a matter of hours. This wouldnt be the first one i've taken apart...I rip right through them. :)

Also, if your interested i have some big toolboxes, home and car audio equipment, and black gen 1 seats and door panels..maybe we can work something out with that, if not let me know how much $$ for the stuff i requested when u part it out.
 
How rusty is it?
I hate to see it parted :(

How did you troubleshoot the drain maybe a few of us can help keep her on the road.
 
it should be an easy fix however if you decide to get rid of it piece by piece i need the front grill and the trim under the left headlight and the drivers side red lense inside the door the little egg shaped one shipped to 76039
 
I should be parting it out this weekend. My cousin and i are gonna make quick work of it. Then i'll start weighing it up and giving prices to ship stuff to all of you. Lux, if you wanna come up and get that stuff this weekend, you're welcome to drop by for a while. Hit me up soon and i'll try to figure out when we're starting this.

Oh, and almost no rust due to the fact that it was in Florida for at least 8 years of it's life.
 
If you do decide to part it out, can I call dibs on the interior door handle cups for both sides? That's if the tabs aren't broken.
And the grill.
How's the passenger side headlight looking too?
And the driver side door sill panel.
Trying to get my 97 looking nice again :) lol. Let me know!

Edit: Ah, see someone already called the grill. Well if he doesn't take it, let me know. And still let me know about the rest.
 
Seems like a shame to part out such a decent Mark VIII!

But if it is going to happen, then I'd like a price for the driver's side door lock/window switches shipped to 66049 assuming they are in good shape with the chrome bezels still attached.

Are you selling the engine as a whole or not? if your not how much for the fuel rails to 48187?

Kraze, i will get that boxed up and weighed up for you. Just to clarify, can you send me a pic of the part of the door panel you're talking about? Not a problem, though.

Chadly, the rear seat is a little messed up due to a chemical spill by the previous owner. The front seats are nice, though. How about $75 for the front seat skins?

96mark8, I am trying to sell this engine whole for now, but i'm picking one up in a couple weeks that has a bad motor. The fuel rails on it should be up for grabs.

think you can weigh up the trim left side under headlight, grill, and the drivers side inside red reflector/light thing on the door panel 76039 got the money from insurance to replace them
