Im sick of trying to get the mark to run right as my daily driver, and be my track car. Im buying a new car for my driver, and the mark is becoming my drag car. Im gutting it to the bone, anything i dont need, whatsoever, is comming out. Unlike the driveline of my car, the interior i took excelent care of, so the interior is cherry. If you need any parts its yours for the taking, just make an offer.

What condition is the rear seat in? It looks pretty good, any burns or scrapes? How much would you want for it?

ditto...the rear seat has been sat in only bout 10 times since iv owned it (35k) and a business man before, (for 25K somethin ) so if anyone sat in it it would be before him, and thats not too much sittin. so, yes, it is in great condition.

btw, yall have ta wait till i get my new car before i start to tear out the big stuff, hopefully it will be this week that i sign.

why are you parting it out? looks like a nice low mileage car.

it is a NICE car, but i need to make some money, but i want to keep the car for drag racing, and this way i can make some money off of it, and also help get the car faster for dragging. thats all i use if for anymore anyways, so i have no need for the creature comforts that a lincoln offers.

Just part the whole thing out and buy a fox Mustang. You'll go faster for cheaper. :D

thanks for the advice, but its not what im looking to do.

Dude, Why are you going to part that car out? Don't destroy it like that. It's a very decent looking car, The inside is nice, The outside doesn't look bad either. You should just fix what ever problems you have and either keep it or sell it out right. I hate seeing these cars ripped apart though. What is wrong with it anyways?

haha, ill just say, it doesnt run right. I cant figgure it out, all my mechs cant figgure it out, heck, even geno cant figgure it out. We have hunches, but before anything can get done something else goes wrong. I wish i still had the power i had back in the day, like when i made that pic in my sig. Taking it off the road will allow me to work on whats wrong without having to worry about reliability, and once i take it off the road, i have no use for the ammenities anymore, besides...theres a slightly larger plan here.

Let me paraphrase.....

MrWilson worked on his car, now it doesn't work. So now MrWilson intends to do more work on his car with the expectation that afterwards it will work better. But is there are correlation between the amount of work MrWilson does and how badly it runs?

My guess is that, in six months, we'll just see a Mark VIII, with no interior, that runs worse, but is a little easier to push.;)
