My passenger window has a mind of its own, If I want it to go down it will go all the way down but sometimes it stops half way other times no problems, this is the same if i want it to go up. Also when it is all the way up or all the way down, if i push the button to make it go up if the window is fully up it still makes a noise as if it was trying to go up, same as with the bottom position, what can i do to fix this? Is it a adjustment issue? Can it be adjusted, idt its the motor it does its job but gets stuck the majority of the time, help, you guys havent failed me yet, lol.

Someone please help, day off trying to get stuff fixed, lol. And another question how do I remove the door panel is it the tree alan screws in the door jam? Someone please reply, thank you.

does the window slow way down before it stops? if so just spray some silicone lube down the bront and rear channels (with the window down) ive seen a lot of people order motors when the tracks r just dry

:woowoo2: I know this, just fixed mine the other day. You need these 3 little plastic things. They go inside your window motor, and keep the motor from turning inside the casing. Over years they disintegrate into mush, allowing the window motor to move intself instead of the window. Heres the part.

You can buy power window replacement kit in the Help section of O'Reilleys. I believe every auto parts store should have one. This is a common problem. Here is what you need to fix it.

.
All you have to do is remove the door panel following the directions here. Unplug the window motor, unscrew the three bolts holding the motor in and remove the motor.
There are directions for opening up the motor here.
You can buy the nylon cylinders at any auto parts store like Advance or Auto Zonein the HELP section, or you can get them at MN-12Performance wiith a new main gear.

I have not taken my 98 Mark motor apart yet but ther might be a better solution. My 1965 T-Bird looks to have the same gear, but instead of the 3 nylon plastic rollers it has steel clutch springs. I used a gear from my 65 in my 85 T-bird and 90 TC. Never again did the window gears ever give me a problem. What I need is a good picture of the center gear to see if it is the same. If it is then the old bird gear are on eBay all the time for under $30 delivered.
