pcm reprogram

i have a 2000 ls with the delayed problems so i took it to the dealer and told them to reflash it and when i got my car back the said they reprogrammed the computer. Is reprograming the computer and reflashing the pcm the same thing. because i still have the same problem as before

yeah if you are having delayed shifting, harsh shifting and delays with kicks when shifting to rev you likely have a bad solenoid pack and valve body. These are transmission components.
