pcv valve

I have a 95 town car and on the pcv valve it has a hose connecting the upper part but the bottom nipple is that supposed to be plugged or go to anything or just suck in air wildly??

So the PCV valve has no hose attached to it, or the hose goes no where?

its the one with the side ways U. The top hose is connected to the intake i believe.. the bottom on sucks in but has no hose connected to it. im not sure if this is wrong or the little pug is supposed toplug it up

I just looked on my Mark VIII. On that, there are 2 exists from the PCV, the bottom one has the hose connected and the top one is redundant and is plugged by a rubber cap.

what 93' blue says is correct. plug the other port. only one is connected to the intake.
