Does anyone know of a way to adjust the Gas Pedal independently from the Brake Pedal on the Power adjustable Pedal Carriage? I love the Power Pedal Adjustment, but the Gas Pedal is a little too low in relationship to the Brake Pedal. If given the choice I would like to adjust the Gas Pedal assembly up about 1/2" to 3/4". My Dealer's mechanics do not want to mess with the Power setup and do not know if there is a way to adjust this relationship.

Theres a reason the gas pedal is alot lower! :steering

I am aware of the ever presence of big brother, and a modest difference is acceptable, but I think the Gas / Brake relationship is a bit too much in this case. I know this is an automatic, and my driving technique has developed over years of racing manual transmissioned cars, but I am used to making the transition from Accelerator to Brake with a swing of the foot. Not a lift and press motion (This also makes heal/toe braking easier). It makes for a transition that causes me to catch my foot on the edge of the brake Pedal in fast maneuvers. I suppose I could learn to Left Brake, but I am a little old to change my driving technique, unless I cannot avoid the change.

What's "heal/toe braking" in a car with an automatic transmission?

Actually, I was referring to a learned behavior of pivoting my foot instead of lifting and placing my foot. As to heal toeing, once learned, it is an easier way to load the suspension and accelerate, primarily learned on manual transmissioned cars, but still useful with automatics. Driver's who never drove manual transmissions aggressively and only use automatics usually just left foot the brake to load the suspension and accelerate normally with the accelerator.
