Performance chips are a scam. Get a good tune from Torrie using the SCT4 linked above. Search this forum, plenty of good info about tunes and Torrie's services.

Not true, in all cases. OBD1 performance chips worked pretty well. Had an ADS Superchip in an 89 Camaro RS that would pump up my 305 enough to smoke a Mustang with a 302. Same chip allowed me to see 30MPG on the highway when cruising. Loved it, hated when I had to trade it off for a family car.

However, for OBD2 cars, they are a scam. Worse than a scam, IMO, in the case of JET Performance. Those things, IMO, will modify what the computer sees, and will sacrifice the engine in the name of performance.
