So the time is getting near and I have to buy plates for the new LS. Thinking about getting personalized ones but have no idea what to put on them. Nebraska is kinda gay when it comes to plates. You get a total of 8 space but there has to be 1 space in there somewhere. I might have to double check to see if you can have a total of 8 symbols and no space. Just wondering if you guys had any ideas on what I should get?

Maybe if I get a few ideas - make a poll and let everyone vote on it??

Thanks!

i think i would get shot if i put those plates on my car well at least the first ones! ha :shifty:

well i checked the website and typed it in and its available.. so ill keep it in mind :shifty:

I want a Euro Ngga Plz! I found Euro plates that can come in your state and you can get the same as your rear plate, giving that front plates are not necessary like they are here in NJ!

yea we have to have front and rear license plates on the car but i don't have a license plate holder in the front since it was a arizona car. So I'm gonna ride dirty and not put one on there till they catch me :shifty:

That's what I do. My front plate is between the driver seat and center console. If I see a cop turn around, it's right there to throw on the dash. I've been pulled over once. Cop felt like a dumbass when I pointed to it :D

He did tell me that wasn't where it's supposed to be, though. MN law states that each vehicle must have 2 plates, one visible from the front, and one visible from the rear. It doesn't say where on the vehicle, but does say they have to be permanently affixed.

did you get any fee for it not being in the right spot or was it a warning?

Just a warning. I told him the bracket fell off that morning.

I would rather ride clean but......:D

Wen I took pics a while back I forgot to put the plate back on and got pulled over and I told the officer that. Since I puled into a lot he made me put it on and watched me to make sure I did so. No way around it for me. Has to be attached to the bumper:(

All Jersey plates look but ugly to me or I wouldn't mind it so much.

but i dont have the bracket yet, so if i would get pulled over i dont think hes gonna follow me to auto zone and buy one and watch me screw the holes into my bumber. Wheres a good spot to put the front plate at. Ive seen some in town that are along the lower grille and some on the bumber any preferences??

lower grille looks better than the bumper application.

Yup. I wanna get two "L" brackets to put mine on the grille but then I cant take it off as easy.

If you look at this pic you will see the plugs that I use to fill in the holes when taking pics.

Well for a extra clean look you can bolt or double sided tape the brackets under them in the yellow area or do the same in the red area on the top of the grille slat.

Why not figure out a way to temporarily mount the plate bracket. Some kind of fabbed mount that stays behind the lower grill but that is somewhat hidden. Then just be able to bolt the plate bracket to the fabbed bracket. Apply some kind of a foam or rubber to the edges so the plate bracket doesn't rub into your paint on the bumper.

Go to a show, pull the plate, unbolt the bracket and whola, no ugly plate or bracket. Just a thought, I don't know what it looks like behind the LS bumper and if it's even feasible.

My plugs hold my plate, just as you explain:)

Sorry, I was editing as you posted:D

My idea also recesses the grille or makes it flush rather than making it stick out.

I just did a simple plate and to the point.

Vanity plates make it easy to remember when that person is screwing up.
