You push the blinker knob towards the dash and the high beams stay ON.

On mine you pull the blinker knob towards you and let go if the lights are on.

duh, man im stupid. but is there any way to drive with them and the fogs. i want the fogs and the highs to be on, but to put a lower bulb in them

Looks good! Did you have any problems installing the new heavy duty connectors?

Thanks for posting the pics. But, I'll be honest it's hard to tell much difference to my eyes (and monitor). So, other than the physical characteristics (Hoen is shorter in length), what is your verdict - PIAA vs HOEN? I'm talking about length of throw, color, beam (narrow/wide), etc.? Spill the beans, man! :)

I've had PIAA high beams, bright white at 4000k in my SUV for several years and like them. But, I'm trying to decide what to put in my '04 LS. PIAA's can be had just about anywhere local, but I wouldn't mind sending some business LS Koncepts way.

Also, I was under the impression the heavy duty wiring harness wasn't required for the 60W high beams. And I assume these are the Xenonmatch Plus bulbs (?).

I have the Hoen's that I bought from LS Koncepts in the fogs and high beams. Ken Garrison reccommended the part #'s and I am happy. I have the factory HID lights and now they all match. They are crisp white light, to slightly blue. Not the yellowish look. I am happy with the HOEN.

They are the HOEN "plus"
The harness' are very easy to install I just clipped the end off and matched up how the harness' locked into the bulb and reconnected them with posilocks
The "look" of the beam is to me closer to HID than the PIAA, the lenght of the throw is as good as the piaa (didnt expect that) it apears to be long and fairly wide. I thought PIAA's were the best out there when I bought them...but they would not for some reason comepletly lock into the housing and since they lasted less than 2 years and they wouldnt fit my mind has been changed to start using HOEN I will be changing the rest of my bulbs to HOEN. BTW I also had PIAA 9005's in my fogs and they blew in only a few months and I know how to handle bulbs I also had PIAA on my 95 mustang

OK, so the PIAA's don't fit easy and the HOEN's are equal to or better than what I'm used to from PIAA. Plus they have more of an HID look. I'll be going with HOEN's as well. Thanks for going to the trouble, gt95coupe! :xmas:

ummm I don't know if I'm reading this right or wrong.. But for me, having the fogs on all the time isn't a problem. On my 01, there is a timer (for the autoshut off when yout take your key out) for my lights.. If I pull on that knob, the fogs lights come on and stay on.. To turn them off, just push the knob in..

Once again, I don't know if i read this wrong or what, but if people didnt know. I hope I help out alittle.

Actually, I thought the fog lights turn off with the rest of the lights when the timer goes off? I know that mine definately do.

Anyone else use the Sylvania Silver Stars. I have those in the low/high beams and for the fogs and they work out great with no yellowish.
