picked up another 97

i'll post pics tom but i grabbed a toreador red on tan 97 base last night. actually not a terrible looking car, high miles but runs awesome. i washed it tonight and cleaned the engine bay it actually cleaned up really nice. has a burnt out hid and neon but other than that it could be a really nice car. i couldnt refuse the price though, just a crack over a grand!!

most likely end up a parts car unless i look it over better and see if its worth keeping for myself for awhile. i'm not sure though i really hate base models. i do not like the chrome at all and i'm not interested in painting anything .

yeah brandon and what would you say if i told you to half ass something on your mark?? i wont make a base look like an lsc, the way i see it, if you want a base you buy a base, if you want an lsc you buy an lsc, unless your talking 1st gen, then i can see where it makes sense to do what you have to do to make it look like an lsc.

and know I wouldn't try and do it because I know how it would turn out... and no I don't half ass things....

That's really clean. The engine bay looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. I wouldn't have know it had 174K on it w/o you telling us.

factory paint except the rear bumper chicken, i dont think its faded at all, your monitor must blow!! the paint looks amazing on it.

i'm parting it, i dont want it i hate base models and its got prarie tan interior!! its either black on black or nothing at all. i see now chicken about the orange look, gotta love flourescent lights in a dark shop! it would be a nice car to fix up for someone but not me and bills are coming up quick!!
