thank you! so far the knob is just floating beside my console, I can't figure out where to put it either.

What about installing the knob inside the ashtray opening if you don't smoke in the car? I'd think a wide array of James Bond stuff would look neat under the little slo-open panel.... especially with illuminated switches etc.

hehe, that's where the nitrous switch is going to go - so i will have to think of a different place

You could put it in the center counsole. If you have the phone, just pull the phone jack out of its mounting hole, and pull the swithc through there.
