What do you all think? I am still waiting to get a new front LSE bumper and to paint the rear license plate surround to complete the project. So this 04 bumper will be for sale shortly for anyone who wants it for a 00-02 conversion or replacement. PM me offers, its going cheap. Also if someone knows where I can get a LSE front bumper for a great deal, please let me know. Thanks Ken for the grille.

I thought the 03'+ front/rear bumpers don't fit the 00'-02' front/rear ends. Correct me if I am wrong. But I think sacredfire was considering doing this, but it's not a perfect match...

I think it would work as long as you have the 03+ headlights, someone correct me if I am wrong on this.

Looks great. The LSE front bumper will look good.

Justin, he's getting\wanting the 04 LSE bumper not the earlier one. He's got an 04 LS not an 02.

Nice car dude!!! I like the suspension and the grille I would like to see some more pics of the CAI and when you install the LSE Bumper

He said he is selling his 04 Front end cheap, for anyone wanting to do the swap on a 00'-02' That is what I was talking about. I didn't think they fit together the 03'+ on the 00'-02'. Am I wrong about this?

Justin,

Here is his quote:

From what that statement says is that he will sell his bumper to anyone wanting to convert their early model LS with an later model LS bumper. He didn't say anything about wanting an early model bumper for his car. He is wanting the 04 and up LSE front bumper.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I think a lot of confusion comes from my username 02V8Sport. This post is about my 04 LS. I am on my 3rd LS now. When I joined this forum I owned the 02 and just kept the screen name. So Im sorry if there is confusion in my posts, which I notice there is a lot of.

About the bumper, It is a 04 bumper. I am trying to sell it to anyone with a 03+ or if someone wants to try to retrofit it to a 00-02 model. Im not sure if it will work, but I dont see why not. I think the only other piece needed would be the headlights for it to work. I am not 100% certain about this, but remember someone else mentioning that in a previous post a while back. If someone can confirm that it would fit, It would make a nice inexpensive upgrade to a 00-02 LS.

The 04 side skirt and the rear bumper skirts are very different from the 00-02 LSE's. I personally like the 00-02 skirts better but couldnt find confirmation that they would fit properly, so I didnt take any chances and just bought the 04 LSE skirts from my Lincoln dealer at wholesale and had my friends body shop paint them to match the car. I think it turned out sleek for 3 hours of my labor to remove and re-install the skirts and just the parts and paint cost.

Thanks again!

Ken, I think we are misunderstanding each other with the words swap/conversion. I know he wants the LSE bumper not a 00-02 bumper.
My point is that if he sells me the 04 bumper for my 00 it wil not fit properly without some body work right???
If it does work then I would be interested i buying it from him. My next question though, is the 04' silver the same as the 00' silver frost metallic?? My color code is TS is the 04' TS too?

The color code on my 04 is JP, they call it Silver Birch Metallic, instead of frost now.

So is this the same color with a different color code and new name or is diferent all together??

Lincoln killed the Silver Frost (code TS) in late 2002. They switched to the Silver Birch (code JP) in late 2002 and have used it instead of the Silver Frost. Some LSE's came in Silver Frost and Silver Birch. The only reason I know this is that they offer the 2002 LSE grille in both colors.

Is there a color diffrence in the birch and frost? I have an 02 and i am too lazy to look at the vin to figure this out

Yes. They are two different color codes. One is lighter than the other.

Well I guess i should go look and make sure my lic plate surrond is the right color. When i ordered it I didn't know there were 2 diffrent colors. I think it looks right DAMN I am worried now and it is dark outside.
