Hey all. Just wanted to throw this out at you. I experimented on my car and it worked with no damage done. Thanks to GIJOE for mentioning he used that rubber wheel on his drill. It gave me the idea to try the MR. Clean eraser and it worked (with a little elbow grease) like magic. On a side note I just had almost my entire front suspension replaced. Lower ball joints, outer tie rods the whole 9 yards. I got the car back and its better but it still sounds like something is banging up there when I go over rough road. Any thoughts as to what else it could be? Oh its got the sports package on it. While I'm asking has any one with the 3.9L experienced any engine noise coming from the front part of the motor. It's not a rod knock sound or lifters its more of a vibration sound. Sorry bout the long post.

What does the whole 9 yards mean? Stabilizer bar bushings, stabilizer links are the two other things I could think of. If you had those repalced.......shocks/struts? As for the vibration sound......is your fan spinning correctly? no other thoughts for vibrations.

The bill was 1200 and change they replaced both lower ball joints, right outer tie rod end and struts. That is all that I am aware of. Could the other things you mentioned be missed by the dealership? The engine noise sounds like it is coming from the intake manifold. You know the black plastic looking thing under the engine cover. The sound only is there at low rpms in gear. It goes away once you give it throttle.
