I have this car ran great but one day decided to stop working , it wont allow ANY power what so ever to the car , i got a new battery its not the battery, ive checked all the fuses , its not that im thinking its a fuse link or a solonoid but im not sure and i dont know what to do to fix it i need it on the road again soon tho :Bang

I was going to say your starter solenoid but I don't think that would cause you not to get any power to the car. Your accessories should still work. I would have to see the schematic though because I think the connection goes from the battery to the solenoid to the ignition, but some things don't need the ignition on to work (certain lights).

I'm not the gear head but what about the voltage reg! Or loose ground?

The ground from the battery might do it, but the regulator has nothing to do with the rest of the system....just the charging system. :Beer

You need to more clearly specify what that issue is. When you turn the key, what happens? Is there absolutely nothing, or is there a ticking noise, or does the engine turn and not run? Try checking your connections first, most specifically your positive and ground wires from the battery. A corroded ground line is often a source of some very interesting results. Check your connections and see where that gets you.

I also have this problem; so far it has occurred twice. When it does, the starter is totally dead. Trying to jump start it produces no difference, unless you remove the positive battery lead and jump it without the battery in the circuit (I know this is not a recommended procedure but it doesn't seem to cause any electronic problems). Then it starts and after reconnecting the positive lead, will run fine. It also starts up normally after that, so it's not a dead/low battery. I'm wondering if removing the battery cable "resets" something in the electronics that is causing the intermitant starter problem. Next time it occurs, I'm going to try just removing the cable , then reconnecting it without a jump start to see if it works.

I had this problem on my 90. It was a bad ground on the neg batt cable. Cleaned it up, no problems.
